Acceptance of These Terms

By using recar.com or purchasing a vehicle from ReCar LLC ("ReCar", "we", "us"), you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

Vehicle Listings and Condition

All vehicles have incurred damage prior to sale unless otherwise stated. All damage has been described as accurately as possible and in good faith. Photos and descriptions are provided for convenience; we encourage every buyer to inspect a vehicle, or have it inspected by a mechanic of their choice, before purchase. All vehicles are subject to prior sale. Prices and availability may change without notice, and we reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors.

Vehicle Titles

ReCar sells vehicles with rebuilt titles, clean titles, and clean titles with total-loss history. ReCar recommends that all buyers contact the Department of Motor Vehicles or similar agency in their state or jurisdiction to determine each such jurisdiction's salvage and clean title laws, rules, and regulations. ReCar makes no representation regarding the salvage laws or regulations in any jurisdiction. If a vehicle is sold with a clean title, it is not guaranteed to remain a clean title in your state; it is up to the buyer to research the future outcome of the title in their own state. No Warranty

ReCar does not warranty or guarantee any vehicle. Vehicles are sold as-is. Protection plans are available from a third party and are covered only by that third party under its own terms.

Deposits and Payment

Placing a deposit on a vehicle is governed by our Deposit Policy. ReCar accepts payment via wire transfer, cashier's check, or through our preferred financing companies. Full payment is due within 7 business days of a deposit; if full payment is not received by the end of the seventh business day, the vehicle will be re-listed and re-sold and the deposit retained. If payment is made by cashier's check, ReCar will hold the vehicle for at least 10 business days after receiving the check to allow it to clear.

Shipping and Delivery

Buyers are welcome to arrange their own shipping. ReCar can also arrange competitive shipping to any state in the United States through third-party transport companies; ReCar does not operate its own transport vehicles and makes no guarantee regarding delivery times. ReCar is not responsible or liable for any damage incurred during transport or at any time after the vehicle leaves ReCar's lot; any transport damage should be noted at the time of delivery and handled directly with the transport company.

Financing

Financing is provided by third-party lenders under their own terms and approval processes. Applying for financing does not hold a vehicle; only a deposit holds a vehicle.

Use of This Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. The content of this website, including text, photos, and design, belongs to ReCar or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use in shopping for a vehicle.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReCar is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or from any listing error. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under applicable law that cannot be limited by agreement.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any dispute arising from these terms or a vehicle purchase will be handled in the courts of the State of Missouri.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted on this page applies, with its "Last updated" date.
