How the Buy It Now Deposit Works

A $500 non-refundable deposit holds a vehicle for 7 days. Applying for financing does NOT hold the vehicle; only a $500 deposit will hold the vehicle for 7 days. If you need to secure financing, make sure it has been approved before you reserve a vehicle and send a deposit.

Deposit Terms

This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. If the purchaser does not follow through on the purchase of the vehicle, the deposit will not be refunded.

If the purchaser follows through with the final purchase of the vehicle, the deposit will be applied toward the purchase price of the vehicle.

ReCar LLC accepts payment via wire transfer, cashier's check, or through our preferred financing companies. Full payment must be made by the purchaser within 7 business days. If full payment is not received by the end of the seventh (7th) business day, the vehicle will be re-listed and re-sold, and ReCar LLC will retain the deposit.

If the purchaser pays via cashier's check, ReCar LLC will hold the vehicle for at least 10 business days after receiving the cashier's check to allow the check to clear.

Vehicle Condition and Titles

ReCar LLC does not warranty or guarantee any vehicle. Protection plans are available from a third party and are covered only by that third party. All vehicles have incurred damage prior to sale unless otherwise stated; all damage has been described as accurately as possible and in good faith. If a vehicle is sold with a clean title, it is not guaranteed to remain a clean title in your state; see the Title Center and our Terms of Service for the full title disclosure.

Shipping

Buyers are welcome to handle their own shipping. ReCar LLC can arrange shipping to any state in the United States through third-party transport companies and makes no guarantee regarding delivery times. Any transport damage should be noted at delivery and handled directly with the transport company. See Shipping for details and quotes.
