ZERO HASSLE. I asked for more pics and more history on the car, which Martin immediately sent along with a video of the vehicle running. Clean Carfax, clean Autocheck, and clean history on the national auto crash system. I had a private party go examine the vehicle prior to purchase, and that party verified all the info I received from ReCars site and from Martin was spot on. I signed my paperwork in 2 minutes through Docusign and sent the wire. The car was ready for me, washed and fueld up, after business hours. A prior insurance event, title brand, or damage-history report usually affects a vehicle’s market value. That history allows buyers to purchase a newer vehicle, higher trim level, or better-equipped vehicle for less than a similar clean-history vehicle.
Safety comes down to how well a vehicle was repaired and inspected, not the label on its title. A rebuilt title actually tells you a vehicle already passed the inspection required by the titling state before it could be sold again as roadworthy, which is more than you know about most vehicles with a plain clean title.

Yes. Independent pre-purchase inspections are welcome and encouraged. This can be especially helpful for customers buying from out of town or purchasing a vehicle with prior damage history.
