A prior insurance event, title brand, or damage-history report usually affects a vehicle’s market value. That history allows buyers to purchase a newer vehicle, higher trim level, or better-equipped vehicle for less than a similar clean-history vehicle.
Safety comes down to how well a vehicle was repaired and inspected, not the label on its title.
